1. Who we are PLACEHOLDER

templateTent ("we," "us," "our") is a digital products studio operating the shop at etsy.com/shop/TemplateTentCo and the marketing site at templatetent.com. For purposes of this policy, we are the data controller for information collected through our website and direct communications. Sales of digital products are processed by Etsy, Inc., which acts as the data controller for transaction data — see Etsy's own privacy policy for how it handles that information.

2. What we collect PLACEHOLDER

We collect only what we need to run the shop and answer your questions. Specifically:

Support correspondence. If you email support@templatetent.com, we receive your message, your email address, and any details you choose to share.
Order information from Etsy. When you purchase a template, Etsy shares the buyer name, order ID, and product purchased so we can fulfill the order and provide support. We do not receive your address, payment information, or full Etsy profile.
Site analytics. Standard, aggregated analytics about visits to templatetent.com — pages viewed, country, referrer, device class. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics unless you submit it via a form.

3. How we use it PLACEHOLDER

We use the information above to:

Deliver the templates you've purchased and notify you of relevant updates.
Answer your support requests.
Improve the templates and the marketing site based on aggregated, anonymized usage data.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build profiles for marketing outside of our own shop.

4. Third parties & data processors PLACEHOLDER

The minimum third parties needed to run the shop:

Etsy — payment processing, delivery of digital downloads, and storefront. Subject to Etsy's privacy policy.
Google — Google Sheets hosting (the templates themselves), and any email correspondence sent through a Google Workspace account.
Cloudflare — hosting and DNS for templatetent.com.

The exact list of processors will be enumerated here once the stack stabilizes.

5. Cookies & analytics PLACEHOLDER

templatetent.com uses only essential cookies required to serve the site, plus optional aggregated analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and we do not run retargeting pixels. If we ever add analytics that go beyond aggregated traffic data, we'll update this section and provide a clear opt-out.

6. Your rights PLACEHOLDER

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, and similar regimes elsewhere), you have rights including:

The right to know what information we hold about you.
The right to request correction or deletion of that information.
The right to object to certain uses, including any direct-marketing emails.
The right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise any of these, email support@templatetent.com from the address associated with your account or purchase, and we'll respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention PLACEHOLDER

We retain order information for as long as we're required to under tax and accounting rules, and support correspondence for as long as it's useful to provide ongoing support. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely.
